The media center is here to support your school's learning community and provide you with all the tools you need to be successful. From researching for a project, to finding a book to read, to using technology to make your assignment come alive, your GIVE West media center is dedicated to your success.

Circulation informationStudents may check out 2 books at a time. You will not be charged a fine as long as you return the book.
Lost books will be assessed a fine. $10 for a paperback book and $20 for a hardback book. **PLEASE do not lose books. We do not like to charge fines. Media Center NewsWhat a media center/library offers you- information literacy skills. We know students are experts at texting and social networking, but when it comes to locating, using, and evaluating the resources they need, students of the "thumb generation" are struggling.

Student portal
At My eClass, you can access the GIVE West media catalog, the GCPS Online Research Library, and digital textbooks from home. First, you must log into a school computer and create a new password. Then visit www.gwinnett.k12.ga.us, click on the MYeClass icon and enter your student ID and password. Click here for more information on My eClass.
Media center rules
* You should be with a teacher at all times, unless under special circumstances your teacher lets someone know you are on your way.
* No horse play - no jumping, running, or pushing other students.
* Respect the media center materials. The computers in the Media Center are to be used for school related assignments only. No personal emails, web surfing or games are permitted. We recommend using an external USB drive to transport files between school and home.
* Replace books on shelves as you found them. If you do not know where they go, but them on a cart or ask a member of the media staff.
